that's what happens when you blow too much air in. Overflows into the stomach.
You must be a pretty new nurse to be grossed out by that. You're on the wrong career path-- hope you can handle 40 more years of vomit, urine, diarrhea, infections, and death.
you should have known that happens when you perform CPR. you're a nurse! but hey, you probly saved a life :)
what did u expect?!?!?!? ive taken bronze cross and know that they throw up about 90% of the time. u being a nurse should no and expect it
Come on, give him a break with the "what did you expect" and "you saved a man's life, that beats being puked on" comments. I'm sure he knows this, but doesn't he have the right to vent about being puked on while doing CPR SOMEWHERE? I mean, regardless of the circumstances, getting someone else's vomit into your mouth IS kinda disgusting [also, if OP had open wounds in the mouth and there was blood in the vomit, I personally would worry about HIV just a little]
you make finding an unconcious body sound like an everyday thing.
Quote from "meet the fockers"... you a man and you nurse??

i think saving a life might be a reward
agree with everyone else. So you had to deal with an unappealing part of your job. I think it's worth it if it means saving someone's life.
