I thought 3 meant wiping the baby's butt with it but maybe I'm wrong.
I thought #3 meant that the handkerchief will be serving its actual purpose, but your idea is even better. Though that's a really strange baby wipe.
Well I would choose dust over whatever DNA your ancestors wiped up with it. Lol
Cloth nappy?
My opinion is gifts can't have strings. If you need to control how the other person uses it, it is not a gift.
You gave your dauther a "white handkerchief" for a wedding present....... that is just pointless. Your dauther put it to good use if you ask me. #68 thumbs up.
wrong, most brides receive a family heirloom at their wedding. its meant to stay in the family and be passed down. My Grandma gave me a beautifully embroidered one that was my "Something Old" at the wedding. I got it cleaned and pressed after and its in my wedding shadow box where it will stay until one of my children gets married.
A successful business is what I'd like to hand down the generations. Not a handkerchief.....

Does she know it was a family heirloom? If not, did you tell her?
That's sad; a lot of people don't have appreciation for family heirlooms anymore! You should take it back!
