Today, I saw the blueprints for my family's new house. My room is half the size of the room next to it. The room next to it is my step mom's walk-in closet. FML

Today, I was helping my dad move into his new house. It's a 4-bedroom house and he has three kids so it's perfect. I was wandering around and noticed that the first bedroom is his, the second is my older brother's, the third is my younger sister's, and the fourth is an office. I have no room. FML

Today, I woke up to my step-mother taking a shower in my bathroom. Of course, this would be fine, if my bathroom wasn't connected to my room and closet, or that I live in an apartment in their back yard, built before she moved in. FML

Today, I came home to my family remodeling our (extremely) out of date bathroom. I was SUPER excited to help them get it done. I walked down the hallway and opened my bedroom door to find a huge, gaping hole in my wall and my room covered in dust. I had to sweep every surface in my room. FML

Today, I found out my mother had remarried, and that I was getting a stepfather and stepbrother. However I found out about it 30 minutes before we left to pick them up from the airport, and also found out that I'm losing my bedroom. FML

Today, I traveled to my hometown for a funeral. I'm staying with my family in the house I grew up in. My dad told me they'd "completely renovated" the house. There's still only one bathroom for the seven of us and I'm sleeping on the floor for the entire two weeks. FML

Today, my mother is a hoarder and her stuff has taken over the whole house, my bedroom included. I've always felt trapped in my home, but when I can't use my closet or dresser because of her and have a messy room because of it, I feel like I can't breathe. In 3 years I'm moving out, I wish it would come faster. FML

Today, I came home from a long shift at work to find that my roommate had completely rearranged all of the furniture. Apparently the new arrangement is supposed to improve the feng shui of our apartment. My bed is in the living room. FML

Here's what you do, in 3 easy steps: 1. Tell your mommy how much you love her and adore her new closet and just how much fut it would be to share it and spent more time together this way. Insist on making a door connecting the closet & your room. Don't forget to put a lock on yours. Just in case. 2. Once done, keep scaring the crap out of her every time she enters the closet. Family fun! Use your imagination. Repeat until she gives up and refuses to enter the closet. 3. Seal the other door. Enjoy the extension of your room.

oh wahhhh the people who are paying for the house are spending more money on THEIR living quarters than on yours. Because you're posting on this site, i have to assume that you're at least... 15? which means at the MOST you should be there another 3 years. Of rent free room & board, meals, utilities etc. I can't wait until you move out and are living in a dorm room half that size with another person, or have to rent your own studio apartment. quit your bitching. you have a house.

#26 a hardass. You should kindly explain to her in a very direct and durragatory manner that she isnt your real mom so she has no real authority, that you were there first- before she was, that theres no blood relation, and that she can go **** herself off a cliff.
