Question... what is the overall goal to try to accomplish by doing that? I mean it just makes no sense why waste the time doing that. Its more of an annoyance to the person you're sending it to to try to "impress" them. They are an ex and you're trying to impress them and make them think you have a life? You can show them you do and if you can't... don't even worry bout it. Live your life and don't care what others think. But until you can escape the grasp of trying to impress everybody... you'll always be stuck in a rut doing this sorta stuff.

If I were the ex, I would see right through it.. What did you think was possibly going to happen when he saw those texts? Instead of him thinking you had a life, it probably had an opposite effect and now he thinks you are a pathetic loser... I wouldn't blame him for thinking so
