Maybe it's just me, but I feel that that there ought to be something between the words "to" and "ball" in the wording of this FML, perhaps it should be "to a ball" or "to the ball"

That's what I thought too, but most seem to be assuming she meant to go to a ball, as in a dance. Besides, what guy in his right mind would reject an offer of sex, especially in such a douche way? So i'm inclined to assume that its a dance as well.

Well the FML says "to go to ball with me" and not "if he wanted to ball with me"so I'm pretty sure she's talking about a dance, which is a something that's much more likely to be rejected by a guy than sex.
