Do yourself a solid and just don't take her. You are not obligated to do so, and I get she may have been worried about mixed signals, but that was no way to handle that situation. You should not be expected to pay for someone that rude. Go solo, or with another friend if possible. Use the cash you would have spent on her and do something nice for yourself instead.
let her think you are going then just never show up on dance night. Sounds mean but hey she wanted to stop being friends right
I wouldn't take her... Also why is your school having the homecoming dance second semester... Unless this is just a fake post to get attention XD
Hey man the same thing happened to me. U need to drop the idea of going with her. In this way u keep your pride and she can go with someone she likes. Dude take it from me, just do it. I did it and there is no bad blood or anything.
Don't pay for her if you don't want to. I mean if she's going to be that much of a bitch.
Why the hell did she even accept the proposal of going to homecoming..I bet shes one of those girls who always says yes in these types of situations and later regrets and makes the guy feel bad
Screw that. If you still go with her, (which I highly recommend you not), she can sure as hell pay for her own shit and make her own way to the dance. If you decide to not let her walk all over you, tell her to forget about it altogether, and use the money meant for the dance to instead take you and a friend out for a damn good time instead.
you don't have to do any of that. just ask someone else and give her ticket to them

Or tell her you aren't feeling this dance with her and don't pay for her.
Sorry op, but really you don't have to... Find someone who respects you!
