this fml made me sad. if he just left because he didn't want a family anymore, as much as it hurts you i think you are probably better off without that kind of person as a role model. the thought did cross my mind that he is missing, but i think OP would've said 'been missing' instead of 'never came home'...either way, its sad. whenever you think about him and start feeling sad just think of all the people who you do have that love and value you, im sure there are more than you realize.

How can anyone say OP deserves it? ******* trolls. I'd say the father is a bastard, but we don't know the details. It doesn't sound like he took any bags with him, so it's possible something bad could've happened to him. Either way, it's really heartbreaking just to imagine it, growing up always hoping that your father will be back as if he'd never left. I'm sorry OP.

That's horrible, OP. *hugs!* :( How old were you, around 7 or 8 maybe? I have two little boys, I couldn't imagine just Walking away from them and leaving them wondering, "Where's Daddy?" :( Think that'd break my heart. I hope you get closure one day. Cheers.
