I'd try to figure out where she got that line from, though. It's not something a 3 year old would say, if they hadn't heard it somewhere else. They would word it differently. Whoever she heard it from probably isn't the best of influences. :) Or you didn't spank her, and she realized that Mum/Dad is a pushover and she can do whatever she wants? If so, I feel bad for her. She doesn't really have a chance. In the future, either don't threaten to spank her, or actually do it. Empty threats are easy for kids to see through.
