You shouldn't feel bad I've been inthat position to, a girl who was a friend said that she liked me, and I didn't know how to break it to her that I isn't feel the same way. It's a very awkward situation...

So? What were you expecting? At least your friendship with your friend isn't ****** and he can carry on a normal conversation with you. Be grateful for what you have. It could have turned out a lot worse. Move on. Done. Not a FML.

That's not too bad, at least he didn't get uncomfortable. Sometimes good friendships are ruined by that sort of confession making things awkward if they don't feel the same way. I know I've lost a good friend that way.
