I graduated a semester early and sent myself to Japan. Most people can't say they've done that. Not to mention, my uncle (who's in his forties) did the same thing with a woman from Russia. My dad's work buddies (three of them) did the same thing with other women around the world. I assure you, this is nothing new. And to #119: We'll have fun with all the immigration stuff, let me assure you. But before we go, we'll have my first four years of university saved and in the bank (and then some, for a year of rent and moving our stuff, et cetera), not to mention the visa we'll acquire before we move to the US will allow him to work already, so once we're there and get jobs, we'll be working our way through the rest of our college education. #121 I just have to say you're probably better off staying in japan unless you have jobs lined up in the US..unless you know for sure you have jobs lined up.
