Today, I told my husband I wanted a divorce. He told me he didn't. End of discussion. FML

...What, does he own you? Pack your stuff and get your ass out. What's he gonna do about it? If worse comes to worst, that's what we have restraining orders and police officers for. Jeez. Grow a pair, lady.

Good point. If she physically grew a pair, I bet he'd be reconsidering the divorce option very quickly!

I had to laugh. I didn't mean to; it's a pretty suckish situation, but how you worded this was pretty hilarious. Watch Desperate Housewives for a while (season premiere yesterday). You'll get all the answers you need from the almighty Bree. ;D

Watch your language!! (that goes for all those using bad language on this site!!!)

and you failed to notice the name of the site is 'fmylife'? i'm pretty the 'f' stands for '****' instead of 'firetruck', but you know, this is just a rumour....... not really meant to be a 'clean' or 'child-friendly' site!

you can still get a divorce without his signature but i think it might have to go to a divorce court but if you really want 1 then do it

I agree with Nemephosis. He doesn't own you. Serve him the papers with a handwritten note that says "I'm divorcing your sorry ass. End of discussion."

Personally, I think it's great your husband wants to stay together. He's trying, and you should be thankful. It's not very good that when one person gets tired of someone they feel like they can just leave them. You and your husband are married, meaning you made a commitment to stay together and work through it. You're not dating anymore, and it means it's now time to mature and work through whatever problems you may have. I wish you and your hubby all the luck with your marriage!!
