It's those words "in love with..." that did it. You don't tell random people you've been "in love with them" for three years. That's ******* creepy. Now, if you had said something NORMAL, like, "I'd like to go out for coffee sometime", you probably wouldn't be in this position. Weirdo.

#76 Thank you. Tell me where people can file sexual harassment charges against their subordinates. You have to have some control over someone to be sexually harass them. Now, perhaps he lied about filing charges. Or perhaps you lied about it. Or perhaps you really did threaten him and he was just trying to beat you to the punch. But, unless your laws are different from where I live, only company policy prevents people from having consensual relationships in the workplace. In the cases in which company policy does prohibit it, it's the person in the supervisory role who is responsible for enforcing it and/or guilty of violating it. Harassment has to do with creating a hostile environment in which someone cannot fulfill their job requirements. That had to be some pretty dramatic telling him how you felt.

The boss was 100% correct in filing the sexual harrassment charge against the OP. If he hadn't, who knows what kind of crazy shit the OP would've started up.

OP: YDI plain and simple. Sorry, but office/company relationships are a HUGE no~no. Your boss also had his reasons for the charges. ... I do agree that the OP and fdmyboss are NOT the same person. If by some small chance that you actually are: well congrats on making a bigger fool of yourself than you already have.
