Today, I took my girlfriend to go see Les Misérables. I tried to stay tough but completely lost it and started sobbing when Anne Hathaway began singing. My girlfriend called me a wimp and stayed dry-eyed throughout the whole movie. I'm dating a robot. FML

I enjoy movies that make me cry, it shows that the writers did an excellent job in making you connect with the story and the characters, I cry every time at "The Green Mile". I may have to see this.

She's a robot because she didn't cry over a movie that she might have known the plot of beforehand? I cry rather easily, over lots of things that wouldn't make most people cry, but not over movies. For some reason, I find it hard to sympathize with movie characters to that extent.

The film is seriously good, Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe both cried their eyes out. You should accidentally smack your gf on the nose, so that she will start leaking a bit like a normal person

I prefer seeing it live rather than in theaters, but crying doesn't make you a whimp. Though I can't really say what I think of Anne Hathaway as a singer.
