It sucks that your dad would overreact like that. Still, c'mon. I don't know how much you pushed it, but a dollar is a lot of money right now. All the grocery goods are going up in price enough already. Despite the fact that I have sympathy for animals, I would still be frustrated with you for requesting to pay this much more for food. It's a nice act, but do these things when you have the money to buy the eggs yourself or pay the extra to your father. Whether your dad cares about chickens or not, he probably can't afford (or at least doesn't feel like he can afford) to pay that much more for one carton of eggs.

Unfortunately, cage-free usually doesn't mean cruelty free... instead of a couple birds to a tiny cage, it's hundreds of birds packed into a warehouse-like space. If you want to know your eggs are cruelty free, buy from a local farmer or raise your own birds!

Yes EVERY animal is beautiful I am vegetarian Yes bugs are ******* cool to I like a lot of bugs I'm not single actually I'm in a long term relationship I'm not crazy I just have a huge amount of respect for animal life!!! As should everyone if you choose to eat meat you should still have compassion and respect at least buy free range like this person tried!!!
