Today, I walked to my local McDonald's. I spent the last 7 dollars I had on my meal. As I began to walk back to my dorm, I was mugged. I explained to them I had no money, so they stole my food. FML

umm, #1, he'd spend it on junk food because he's a college student who needs to eat? and mcdonald's was the cheapest option available? (aat least, that's what i'm presuming). maybe there's nothing left in the fridge?

For my editorial at school I picked the topic of how expensive good food is. A family of 4 can go to McDonald's and eat off the dollar menu for roughly $10. Grocery stores and organic food markets are getting extremely expensive. $2.25 for a head of lettuce?! In Wisconsin?! What would you rather do, if it was your last $7? Spend it on a full meal or on a few veggies?
