It's not that big of a deal. At all. I just bought a bikini from Target with an XL bottom and a L top, and I'm actually pretty skinny. I wear a size 4 in jeans and have a 26" waist, and I run 2 miles almost every day. It means you have an ass, and there's nothing wrong with that. People need to get over what the actual size is and focus on what it looks like.

Fat chicks need lovin' too! Just not from me. I'm all set with that.

I'm offended by all these fat comments. wearing extra large doesn't make you fat. that's exactly what I wear, and I look alright in a bikini. obviously the OP thought she looked good, so the size really doesn't mean anything. she isn't vain, and she can wear whatever she likes.

Also clothes come in all sorts of sizes and cuts depending on the store (and country of origin!) so an XL doesn't mean too much. I have everything ranging from S to XL in my wardrobe, it's just horribly confusing. As long as it fits and flatters you, wear it.
