God ur a fat ass. U totally deserved that!!!
XL really isn't that big, especially for Target. I can wear a medium with some brands and wear an XXL for Target brands while with most brands I just wear large. Unless you're usually a small or a medium, it's not that bad. Though your mom is an ass, she may have a point if you have large hips. No matter how skinny some people are, they won't be able to wear mediums.
Just because an XL fit her doesn't mean she's fat. I can't believe how many mean comments are on here! Some people who are tall and average weight wear XLs. And yes, the OP said she had gained weight, but you can gain weight without getting significantly fatter. She said the XL fit her perfectly, which means she probably looked fine in it.
some people are so positive :) you're an inspiration
You need to just keep trying.
189: i agree. i gained a good bit of weight, but all of my clothes still fit (for the most part), i have not gained many (if any at all) inches on my waist. you can gain weight without getting much fatter. and i am trying to lose weight. It is hard, no matter what people say, losing weight is hard. i do not have a fast metabolism, and I have a few health problems (not weight related) which make me tired. I was also put on a high salt diet. so there are a lot of reasons for someone being overweight. dont judge.

you should sit on your mom, that should teach her a lesson.
The size on the tag doesn't matter as long as the clothes fit well and you feel comfortable with the way you look.
