Report the staff to corporate. Get their names. try to get the info about the bitches too.
First, use a recording app next time to get their assault on your phone. Second, there should be a section of your contract prohibiting members from this kind of crap. Highlight that section, and take it (and their representatives) up the chain. At the LEAST, they owe you for this. You might also check local libel statutes to see if you can charge the abusive women with something. Shaming of any kind is not acceptable. Good for you that you're working to make a change in your life. I hope you can deal with this crap and reach your goals.
Sorry OP I would have told them to f*** off!!
Sorry you had that experience, OP. Don't let the negativity get you down. You can reach your goals! As for those girls, karma has a way of taking care of people like that.
I guess not all Canadians are nice
Two words; Justin Bieber
As a Canadian I agree with both these sentences.
Two more words: Ted Cruz
Cancel your membership and make sure to mention those staff members' despicable treatment of you to their managers as you do. Then go to a gym where they respect their customers.
no shit. hang in there op. we're all rooting for you!
You're telling OP to cancel their gym membership and leave? If anything, OP needs to escalate this issue to a manager or someone else who will do something. OP shouldn't have to change their routine because of someone else's bitterness.
Or at least *threaten* to cancel. Op should take it to corporate and tell them about the crappy staff at that location, let them know if they don't get it together, Op will cancel and spread the word that their gym allows fat shaming. Under no circumstance is that okay, I know that my gym would have canceled those girls' memberships if that had happened there, and that is how it should be. There should be no tolerance for that behavior, there shouldn't even be a first warning, in my honest opinion.
I'm not encouraging him to leave because of the girls, but because of the staff, #115. Not reacting to bullying is inexcusable and should cost them OP's membership. I don't know about you, but I wouldn't feel safe working out in a gym environment where the employees react with such apathy ever again.
**** those bitches. Continue doing what you're doing, you're on the right path. Rock on.
Sounds like they need a life
Feel free to sit on them and then switch to a real gym.
This is when you break out the words, 'I'd like to see your manager please,' while peering intently at the staffers name tags.

They have problems that hitting the gym won't fix. Hang in there, OP.
quick backhand would sort that out.
