I hate it when they put the wires in my brackets, and then clip em' way back inside my mouth. I keep thinking they are gonna clip my gum or cheek, or they will drop it outta the wire cutters and i'll swallem em' and die. lol

Fake nails are NOT allowed in the medical area- definitely should be reported, sorry about your gums :(

Ohh I know what that's like! My old dentist was never really careful, and when i was getting a filling he slipped while drilling slicing up my gum and cheek. And he was just like "Well we'll have to wait a little while for the bleeding to stop." Thanks for not caring, dick. Switch orthos haha.

complain to the top person there and see if they will give you another doctor, and if they don't , go to another orthodontist after complaining to the head person there (i'm not quite sure who that would be though)... a very similar thing happened to me as well, only after the first time she was more careful (because i tend to give off an image of being extremely likable when amongst people older than i).. they all liked me a lot so they tried to help me out as best they could. they originally didnt have the color black in retainers (the orthodontist which i went to) until i sweetly asked if they had black and orange... now they do :D

i feel your pain... braces suck.. especially with a bad orthodontist

this is why i made sure my orthodonist was male. his nails were always cut short, and his head was always shaved.
