Today, I was chatting with the girl of my dreams, a real heart-to-heart. Everything was going great, and I asked her if she'd like to get coffee together sometime. She immediately backed away and excused herself, mumbling something about not dating left-handed people. Huh? FML

Today, during my first date with a girl I've liked for awhile, she tells me about some minor disabilities she was born with. Wanting to be honest with her too, I tell her I'm slightly autistic. Her response was, "I'm sorry this isn't going to work. I can't date a retard." I had to eat alone after that. FML

Wow, now I know the truth!! My failure to date people I would love to has absolutely nothing to do with my obesity. It's because I'm left-handed. I feel SO much better!! So sorry for you, OP -- honestly, sounds like you really dodged a bullet, because the girl of your dreams may have turned out to be the girl of your nightmares.
