When I see old people filling the trains on peak hours because they just want to randomly wander around at the time when all the people who work to pay their pension need a seat because they will be standing all day long (when the vast majority of young workers today will not even see a pension in their lives), I just feel like telling them that they are just a burden to the society.
Hey, you don't get to be old by not covering your ass.
I can only assume their reaction came from them being overwhelmed. I hope you sorted it out with them and eventually assisted them, if they let you.
