Today, I was doing a study on homeless people and how they manage to stay alive on the streets. Turns out the one I was studying today was given more money than I make in a week. FML

and that's why America is so screwed up. work your butt off to support yourself and you struggle. go to social services and you live like a king for free and no back breaking involved!

I just want to add that not all homeless people are panhandlers. When I was in highschool, my father and myself were homeless. We never begged for money or anything like that. Instead, we would go to local churches on food days. We were lucky, a few in my area would give out food without IDs. Many food banks require an active ID, something many homeless people do not have.

I know a guy who panhandles and drives a Porsche no lie its a 10 year old one but worth more than my car. He has never told me how much he makes in a day but he rents a room and drives a Porsche never scene him go hungry so I think he does well...
