Everybody slips up once in awhile. Too bad it always seems to happen when they're at that age...
Wow!! Kind words from a 8 year!
What a coincidence- I once read this situation, word for word, in a joke book.
That a boy!!!
You have inspired me to have children now. Thankyou.
When you tell a kid not to say a word, they say it, and or use it against you. If they do continue to say that, tell them what it means. I Guarantee they will then never say it again. :) how I know dis? While babysitting my cousin I was watching a video, and they said douchebag, he loved dat word. Repeated it, called the cat a DB, me, and a-movie that. I then told him to shutup. Upon being told I was a douchebag I then told him the meaning. Five minutes later, his parents come home. He said nothing and I got an extra 10$ >:)
yeah, how would you explain what **** meant? The worst of all the curse words. My son picked that up from his father and after trying to punish him everytime he said it I tried a new tactic, just ignore it. Eventually he stopped saying it and now even tells people who say it around him that it is a bad word. He's 3 and he knows all the really bad words and also all the not so nice words like 'shut up'. And he knows that I don't approve of him saying them. I also dont think that smacking your kid across the face is the way to go. That was for you ~shedevil~

Way to go, douche bag.
I agree with your son.
