Today, I was driving my eight year-old son to school when a guy cut me off, prompting me to yell "douche bag" as a reflex out of the window. Realizing my mistake, I turned to my son and told him to never, ever talk like that. His response was, "Too late, douche bag." FML

Your kid has a good sense of humor you should be proud

Am I the only one who finds this adorable? And for people saying bad parenting, yes because all parents are perfect all the time -_-

could have been worse. he could have said it and told you to never use such language. there are worse words.

Hes 8 he probably already knew the word douche bag unless he's home schooled, has no Internet connection, and is forced to were ear plugs in public he probably already knew that doesn't stop the fact that you suck at parenting and need to chill the **** down on the road

So today he learned to do as you say, not as you do. At least he's smart enough to see through your b.s.

OP started it first, so why do I see people commenting about giving her child a tight slap? The level of ignorance nowadays...

Nice going. Since you cant be a positive example or properly parent your child, you may decide to try alternative methods. Try this; Beat that kid within an inch of his life. Don't underestimate the value of genuine fear and violence on a child. Or, just forget the whole thing and plan on visiting him in prison because you can't be bothered to raise him right. Responsibility is not for everyone. You can start blaming everyone else for your failure right now.
