Clearly everyone here is either in the second grade or didn't pay attention in high school. Has anybody heard of the 3 learning styles?? There are auditory learners (ones who learn best by listening to information, visual learners (ones who learn best by seeing information), and kinaesthetic learners (ones who learn best with a hands-on approach). Clearly the OP is not an auditory learners, and neither am I. I'm a visual learner. If the OP's parents spelt many words quickly, her brain may not have had time to piece the letters together in time, while the parents kept spelling, resulting in the OP missing letters or words and therefore not understanding them. I know it takes me a second to put the letters together when someone spells it because I can't see it. Many of you may find this hard to understand (sorry for the information overload, I'll get you some ice for that headache) but that is probably because (as I mentioned before), you are either in second grade and haven't learned this yet, or are just too stupid :) I think I'll chose the latter.
