Today, I was excited that my sister called me for the first time in months. She asked me to stop watching "Friends" so she could use the Netflix account. Now, I still have an absentee sister and no Friends. FML

Kick her off Netflix if it's your account, change your login, she doesn't deserve it

It'll be ok, OP. I'll be there for you.

But you can stream on multiple devices from the same account at the same time? Why do either of you think you have to stop watching so the other can start? And if it's your account, change your password and tell her to piss off. Problem solved, your Friends are back.

Actually you can't play it on multiple devices if you have the lowest plan option. You have to upgrade the account to allow more than 1 user to use it at a time ($8 for 1 device at a time and $12 for 4 devices can play it at once). I do agree with her changing the info if it's her Netflix

Forgot that there is an option for 2 devices at once but don't know the correct price if someone is a new user. Last time I checked it said the price ($8) was only guaranteed to a certain date then it may change for the account. Makes me think she may get that price since it was before they made the plan options

like Friends, living with people I love & care for was all I ever wanted. instead I get. .this life. do I sound selfish?

You can make separate accounts in the one big one so u can both watch!

Shit. I meant to like this... Not dislike it.

Get your own Netflix account, it's not that expensive. Problem solved.

if you call netflix you can upgrade to 4 devices for an additional $4 that is what I did, for us and our children.

I didn't know 2 people couldn't use the account at once. My boyfriend and I do that all the time. OP change the password...problem solved.

2 People can watch at the same time... Add user accounts.

How come you both can't use it? I have a profile on my MILs account, so do my two SILs and 1 BIL, my mom also shares my profile with me. So that's 6 different households watching on the same account....

You have to upgrade the account to allow more than 1 user to use it at a time. Right now my mom's Netflix can only have 2 devices playing it but for $4 more 4 devices can play it at once.

Overrated, maybe, but overrated doesn't mean bad, it just means not as good as everyone says it is. So it can still be good, and apparently is to OP.
