Today, I was filling out paperwork with my new doctor. During the questionnaire, she asked if I was sexually active. I said yes. She then asked, "What do you do?" I told her I normally did vaginal, but sometimes anal. She blushed and started to laugh. She was asking where I worked. FML

thats so funny. but at least she was able to laugh/have a sense of humor about it! i went to a doctor once for a routine check up and when i told her she was sexually active she asked how many partners i had had. when i told her she scoffed and recommended a full std workup because someone who'd "been around" as much as me was "sure to have caught something." i dont know what people normally tell her, but i always thought that 5 was a respectably LOW number for a single and sexually healthy adult. i, naturally, requested to see another physician.

Bwahhahahaha...that's classic. I've accidentally told my doctors too much before, as well. That pause when you realize you told them more than you should have is a seemingly long, uncomfortable one.
