Today, I was forced to spend an extra $318 for another plane ticket to Dallas. The ticket wasn't for my daughter, my mom, or my sister, but for the quarter of my butt that apparently needs its own seat. FML

well you gotta feel sorry for the person who might have been sat next to you if you hadn't bought the ticket. They would only get 3/4 of a seat for their butt otherwise :P

The airline can't make money if they let everyone with a big tushie occupy more than one seat for normal price. If you're preventing someone from using the seat beside you, you are bad for business and need to pay the price as if someone else were sitting there. If you occupy more than one seat because of body fat, it's time to take the blame for your fat ass and not blame it on your "naturally large" body frame or whatever excuse people are using these days.

Lol @ 172. Seriously? I think those "medical setbacks" that cause people to become overweight are nonsense. It's ALWAYS poor lifestyle. For some people, they might have to work harder than others to shed those pounds but its definitely not impossible. If it was a genetic disease, why are there so many more obese people today than say a hundred years ago? Unless the fat people are bunnies, society is just giving names and excuses to diseases to make people feel it's ok to be big.

I wasn't saying all fat people have genetic diseases or whatever, but it does happen. My grandpa injured his back, neck, and shoulder and gained a lot of weight. He was working when he slipped on some ice. Is that his fault? Or how about my dad's girlfriend who was on medication that caused weight gain while she had an injured knee from work? What about people who are too depressed to get out of bed?

this is probably bullshit. they don't charge you for two seats they can just move you ro the back of the plane cause there is always an extra seat

alright so he's fat that doesn't matter maybe he has a medical problem that causes him to gain weight. I know a few people like that so stop calling him fat cause you don't even know who he is or how he lives his life.
