Today, I was forced to spend an extra $318 for another plane ticket to Dallas. The ticket wasn't for my daughter, my mom, or my sister, but for the quarter of my butt that apparently needs its own seat. FML

well you gotta feel sorry for the person who might have been sat next to you if you hadn't bought the ticket. They would only get 3/4 of a seat for their butt otherwise :P

I clicked 'YDI' for complaining. Yeah, it sucks to be you and it's not your fault. It also is what it IS, however. You pay higher prices for larger clothing because it takes more time and effort and more material to produce. You pay more for larger size shoes. Yeah, you pay more for extra space on the plane, too. It's just your lot. Suck it up, because WE are not going to pay it for you and if you DIDN'T, then we'd HAVE to. So. Sorry for being blunt, but If you're that big, pay for the extra ticket without complaining or drive.

It's not actually that hard to lose weight. The problem is that most people try to hard and just end up burning themselves out

Ydi for not taking care of your health. I hate getting stuck with half a seat because of someone who is morbidly obese.

YDI!! Damn right they made you buy an extra ticket, of forbid someone actually bought that ticket, they would have had your nasty ass fat encompassing their leg the whole trip. If you can afford the costs of food and extra healthcare that being that fat comes with, you can afford the extra ticket

Wow... I feel sad for you.. But I wouldn't blame anyone else.

It also costs more for the airline to fly with more weight. More weight means more fuel consumption.

It's called dissability.... I have a disability and have problems walking to the bus stop some days. Think before you say/post.

Might sound harsh, but why should the airlines get nothing for the seat occupied by one quarter of your butt? Or why should the person sat next to you have only 3/4 of his/her seat for the full price? Would you rather give to the person 1/4 of their plane ticket to keep it fair? "You have only 3/4 of your seat, you should pay only 3/4 of your ticket"?
