I'm not seeing the FML here 1) Every father is supposed to want to protect his daughter. I'd distrust any man that didn't. 2) He's a cop and the police see domestic violence, rape and murder everyday so he's probably a little more worried about it happening to you than the average dad. 3) Cleaning a gun is not a threatening act. The gun is unloaded, disassembled, and completely harmless. If your boyfriend was so scared of a man hold a harmless object that he cried you need to lose him. Oh and if I ever have a daughter, I plan on meeting all her boyfriends while sitting on the porch, talking to and caressing my shotgun.
Aren't police not allowed to bring their guns home?
I laughed when I read this. Funny thing? My dad used to do the same shit when I was a teenager... My older brother too. They took extreme pride in scaring the dog shit out of anyone who wanted to talk to me. Pissed me off then. It's funny as hell now reading about this happening to someone else. You'll be ok; just be happy that your dad loves the hell out of you and doesn't want you to get hurt. And LMAO #194!!!! BTW, when I get married, I'd want my husband to do the exact same thing...
hey pops, you seem to be a pro at knowing what a clean gun looks like. Here's mine, now that I have the barrel at your eye level, tell me, is it as clean as yours, or can you see something down there?
A girl I once dated had a dad who was a Green Beret or a Navy SEAL or... something like that, I can’t remember, but: when I first went to her house, he had this big... roll of combat knives that he preceded to sharpen and subsequently demonstrate his throwing abilities in front of me. I knew he wouldn’t stick me, so I wasn’t worry. Maybe it would have been different if it were guns, I admit.
LOL! Your dad is awesome. That boy sounds like a wimp.
For those of yall saying it's made up, no it's not. I'm the youngest of 4 girls in my family, and my dad has done the same thing to each of our homecoming/prom dates and boyfriends. My dads not a cop though, which is good. This actually does happen, some dads are overprotective. And while watching twilight, I thought to myself "this is just like my dad" so stop calling bull shit on a post just because you "think" it's fake.
