Today, I was getting ready for my first date with a boy I really like when my dad insisted on meeting him. My dad is super protective and a cop. He cleaned his gun in front of my date and made it clear he had to be careful with me. My date started to cry when we got to the car. FML

The people claiming it's from Twilight are either 12 years old or complete brainless morons. That scene is in Twilight BECAUSE it's such a huge cliche that fathers all over the place do... When I brought my fiance home to introduce him to my parents, my dad had several swords, hahahaha! There's nothing to cry about either, unless your boyfriend was very young? How old are you two??
