Today, I was getting ready for my first date with a boy I really like when my dad insisted on meeting him. My dad is super protective and a cop. He cleaned his gun in front of my date and made it clear he had to be careful with me. My date started to cry when we got to the car. FML

No, they don't have to keep their gun at work. They keep it at their house like anyone else with a gun would. My dad's an MP and he has three guns at the house (properly kept safe in a gun cabinet, of course) and he will probably be cleaning one of them in front of my bf when he comes to the house.

You should thank your dad, now you know your boyfriend isn't worth his salt. You should do this test to every guy you date and see how they react until you find one with balls. Do you really think a guy like that would protect you, or just run away when he's scared?
