#29 What are you talking about? As for OP. Deserve every bit of it. How you get lost on some backroads is beyond me. Can't follow roads back, left when you did right, etc? Maybe next time you won't be dumb enough to pull such a stupid stunt. #17 Be that as it may, this was a rural country road. Likely two lanes, curvy and maybe hilly. 73 is too fast for that.
lots of lil urban myths here... #1, #11 - cops CAN radar you while driving. 10 years ago they couldn't, but trust me, they can. Even still, he can nail you for reckless. Judges know that cops can recognize speeding cars vs. non speeding cars (esp at that range) #17, you're partially correct. 70 is only in rural areas. That designation (whatever engineers consider the degree of the turn) was also made when cars weren't quite as maneuverable, so it's probably higher. In urban and suburban areas the limit is much lower. I've also seen slower speed limits in congested areas, which makes sense. It's also been a few years since I've seen the specs. As for him "lying" - its possible. If you want to test that theory and you are positive he's going to give you a ticket - you can ask to see the radar. Depending on the state they have to let you see it. In NJ they may get you before you go before the judge and let you plead it down to save court time and still get your money. Most municipalities don't care about the points. This is DEF not the case in some other states, like SC. By running the little cat and mouse game you pretty much clinched the ticket though, prosecutor prob. would want to see that taken through. Get a lawyer who's worked traffic and from the municipality you got your ticket and you'll probably get off with a parking ticket or something, since lawyers in the same town often know each other and do favors. You'll still have to pay something though. This is all from experience and firsthand knowledge, but you should trust me as much as a Wikipedia article.
LOL. Stupid of you, but for some reason I sympathise. FYL+YDI.
Lmao, I thought about doing that when I got mine, but I wouldn't be able to work after that since he was there all the time dealing with the snowboard thefts
Honestly, I probably would've done the same.
This is an epic fail.

thats what you get for not just pulling over and accepting the ONE ticket you wouldve got
How could you not deserve this?
