Today, I was going into an office building. There was a boy and a man ahead of me, and the boy held the door open for me. Surprised, I said "What a nice young man," and he said. "It's ok, ma'am; my dad says to always hold the doors open for old ladies." I'm 43. FML

Well you're probably old to him, since he's just a boy.

oh no. u are old to him hence the probably 36 yr differnce or so

Umm, you called him a "nice young man", and uh, I was always under the impression that only old ladies said that? Maybe I'm wrong, but that's what I think. 0_0

the way you talked I'd think you're old too and that kid was still polite

get over it and just be glad he was raised right!!!

101- over the hill is when you turn 50. and you prolly are old to him. he's just a boy.

Quit complaining, he opened the damn door for you. And to a little kid, anything over 20 is old. But you, my friend, kind of are old. you're my MOMS age.

You are old. 30-39: transformation from young to old 40-49: old 50-59: even older than old 60-xx: grammy domain But it's always funny how people, especially women, always raise the "old" bar the older they get. You'll probably still call yourself young at 80 because you can't admit to being old.
