Today, I was going to propose to my girlfriend of 3 years. I got reservations for a romantic dinner, and at the end, fireworks would spell out my proposal. The whole thing had taken weeks to plan out and had cost me a lot of money. She proposed to me at a subway station first. FML

Today, I took my girlfriend of nearly 2 years out to dinner so I could propose. When the waiter brought the check, I caused a bit of a scene to get everyone's attention. When I got on my knee and proposed, she said no and asked if I could hurry up and pay, because she was embarrassed. FML

I think it's cuter when the girls proposes. But you can still propose to her, just say: "I know you already said yes, but still" and then continue ;-) And now you know she'll say yes anyway ^^

And now you want to call it off, right? Dude, just be happy that she asked you to marrry her. (I'm still waiting for that cute girl who would ask me). Just do your thing and surprise her and tell her that you where all planning way before she asked you. No big deal.
