Today, I was going to propose to my girlfriend of 3 years. I got reservations for a romantic dinner, and at the end, fireworks would spell out my proposal. The whole thing had taken weeks to plan out and had cost me a lot of money. She proposed to me at a subway station first. FML

After three years of dating, I suppose the girlfriend realizes that she's signing up for a lifetime of her spouse bitching about things working out beautifully. Okay, so I get the FYL because of all the wasted effort and money for an anticlimax, but at the same time: you got a proposal from the woman you want to marry. Your romantic life is full of win. Forget the money and have a laugh about it when the fireworks go off later.

Oh please. A lot of worst things could of happened. She could of said no or admitted to having an affair with your mom. Be happy that in the end you still get the girl. Besides it'll be a funny story to tell in the later years.
