Finally, it really is just common sense to not engage in coitus with family around no matter what the age (also since his brother is 6) I highly doubt he's older then 18. In addition, I really hope your moving out soon, I also live with my parents but I'm only 21 and still in college, however I AM making enough money working full time to pay for my own apartment, I'm just waiting until I graduate to move so I won't have to move twice.

So if a person isn't in a relationship why would they be interested in having sex with a person based on their personality and not their looks? It would be shallow to date someone based purely on physical attractiveness, but if you're just bumpin nasties then it's kind of the point to be attracted. Also, no one cares what others think about when they should be having sex with people, they're your morals and yours alone and people who don't agree don't care about them. I could call a person a who only believes in sex after marriage a stupid sheep who doesn't understand the importance of a healthy sex life in a relationship but it's my belief and only relevant to me.

I did actually move out at 21, but when the global financial crisis hit, the science industry was decimated and I didn't have much experience (I got a scholarship to study for a Master's degree, which delayed getting my first graduate job) so I'm now one of many molecular neurobiologists working in menial jobs. I moved back in with my parents temporarily and worked two cleaning jobs to put myself through driving lessons and buy a car. I'd probably have been in a position to move out sooner but I gave quite a lot of my wages to my parents for rent as my dad is very ill. Within a month of passing my test, I was in an accident at work and severely damaged my foot. I didn't sue my employer because it would cripple a small business and cost my colleagues their jobs. After 6 months, I am just now able to walk properly again. I now have a licence and a car and have some interviews lined up in my field, so fingers crossed I will soon earn enough to help my parents and get my own place. I don't think I'm a shallow person at all. My interests include philosophy, politics, literature and science. I write poetry. I'm the first person my friends come to when they need a hand. I also enjoy no-strings sex. I agree that having sex while siblings are still awake is a little silly, but some people enjoy casual sex and others don't. If you fall into the "don't enjoy it" or "don't like the idea of it" category, then don't do it yourself. But don't judge people whose opinion differs, particularly when you know nothing about who they are or what obstacles they've had to overcome.
