Seeming that you said you helped, I assume you don't live with him anymore. Meaning no real reason you would need a room. I also assume your older brother lives there and that's why he has a room. If he doesn't live there, then that's messed up.

I'm sorry but I can't see this as an FML. I mean is it just us Australians who often convert spare bedrooms into offices and vice versa when necessary? Here in Australia offices are rarely much smaller than bedrooms, and can easily be cleared out and made into a bedroom - happens all the time here. Unless the office was really tiny or something, in which case FML.

So apparently I'm not allowed to politely state my opinion that I don't think this is necessarily a big deal, but I AM allowed to say that the OP definitely 'deserved it' for being selfish (as another comment above still remains, though harshly voted down).
