Today, I was in my 15-year-old sister’s room when I found birth control pills. I told my parents, who responded by saying, "Sex is beautiful thing." When I was her age my parents caught me pleasuring myself, and smashed my laptop with a hammer, all while calling me "filthy" and "immoral". FML

Today, I came home to find that my room had been ransacked. My mom comes out of nowhere and says that we need to have a talk. I freaked out thinking it was all the empty alcohol bottles under my bed. My mom holds up the birth control and says, "I always knew you were a whore." FML

Today, I was on the phone bragging to a friend about losing my virginity last night. When I went downstairs, my 6 year old sister was digging through my purse. She explained that she had overheard my conversation and wanted to help me find my virginity. My mom was in the kitchen with us. FML

Today, my family drove me to the airport. Before they said goodbye, my mom discreetly pulled me to one side and asked if I'd remembered to pack my birth control pills. Unfortunately, my little sister heard, then chased me through the security line, yelling, "YOU'RE ON BIRTH CONTROL?!" FML

Today, my mom went through my drawers and found some antibiotics from Planned Parenthood. She immediately flew into a rage and told my whole family, my aunts, and her church that I was a “loose woman with a horrible disease.” The antibiotics were to treat bacterial vaginosis, not an STD at all. FML

I just realised that you're a guy so talking to her yourself might not be the best option, either, but my point still stands. Were you genuinely concerned for her or did you just want to see her get into trouble? If the former, why would you think that your parents freaking out and calling her "filthy" would help the situation? I mean, your parents are asses, but I have to wonder at your own motivation, too.

maybe your parents were being sarcastic about the "beautiful thing", it might be that she has horrible acne or horrible periods and she's didn't want you to know because it's embarassing or awkward. suck it up. besides she's your younger sister she's always gonna get away with anything... i speak from experiences.

Don't assume he wanted to get his sister in trouble maybe he was actually concerned. I mean they are siblings, it wouldn't be a shocker, and they are her PARENTS it would be for them to know that their daughter is taking birth control pills, even if it wasn't for sex

My brother is constantly in my room, and I in his. So you are not automatically sick for being in your sibling of the opposite sex's room. Then again, my brother and I always yell at eachother to get out of eachother's rooms, so it might not be the best of examples.
