Today, I was in my 15-year-old sister’s room when I found birth control pills. I told my parents, who responded by saying, "Sex is beautiful thing." When I was her age my parents caught me pleasuring myself, and smashed my laptop with a hammer, all while calling me "filthy" and "immoral". FML

I was 14 when I lost my virginity - I don't regret it one bit and I am still with the same guy. Yes, I realize this isn't the norm, nor do I promote having sex at a young age, but not everyone who does is a **** or a *****. In my case, I don't think having sex with one person makes me a *****. Last time I checked in order to be considered a ****, you had to have multiple partners. All I'm saying is don't judge others. And don't try to force your views down their throats. It never works.

Let me help you out with the whole "you're such a ****" issue, because if you're having sex at 14 you will need to know this. 1. Girls call each other ***** because they are jealous of each other and insecure. Being called a **** by a girls is derogatory (that means it is not nice). They will hate you because guys like you. Most guys. 2. Ultra-conservative and religious guys will call you ***** because... well, they will tell you it is because you are a sinner and going to hell and blah blah blah. But it is really because they are all repressed homosexuals. So they are very much like girls in their personalities. Being called a **** by one of these "guys" is also derogatory, but who the **** cares? As soon as they leave the closet they'll be happier and won't bother with you. 3. Regular guys might refer to you as a "****" only to communicate with other guys, the way they might label your other attributes (tall, athletic, smart, etc). This is just a guys' way of saying that you aren't afraid to have sex. This is a good thing to guys. Normal guys like "*****" because they like to have sex with girls who are willing to have sex. I hope this brief tutorial helps. In summary: "****" from another girl or from a repressed homosexual man is an insult; "****" from a normal guy is ok, and means he really likes you and would like to get to know you better.

You know, I hope you know that more than likely they already knew she was on the pill, because the doctor has to prescribe and the parents MUST know. She's not of age therefore doctor patient confidentiality doesn't exclude parents. Also, just because she's on the pill doesn't mean she's having sex, it could be for hormonal balance. Thirdly, why the HELL were you going through your sister's room and belongings. What's wrong with you?

Actually, this Summer when I went for my physical my doctor informed that (in CA) at the age of 13+ any girl can make an appointment to get sex information or be prescribed birth control. Parents are not informed what so ever if the patient does not wish so. And all you people saying he's a tattle tale, first of all, what are you, 5? And second of all it's not like he found mom's broken vase, he found birth control which most of the time means what... sex! Good job for telling your parents (even if they're hypocrites). He's looking out for his LITTLE sister. Geez. And 15 is too young. If you're 15 and not a virgin, you've already lost so much.

It's actually very possible maybe he was in her room to get something else or maybe she asked him to get something from her room and he accidentally found it. He could really care for her, I mean after all he is her brother. That sounds like something my sister would do.

maybe he was going into the room to borrow something like a pen, or she asked him to get something near her pills? there can be an explanation for everything, though he might have just been nosy or maybe she was an asshole to him about something so he wanted revenge. i'm not sure if i would tell the parents first thing though, i only would if she reacted in a concerning way like "im a prostitute" or "i'm with 3 guys right now" or something. but yeah if he did it just to get his parents angry at her, YDI but her parents are being hypocrites, so FYL as well.
