Today, I was in my 15-year-old sister’s room when I found birth control pills. I told my parents, who responded by saying, "Sex is beautiful thing." When I was her age my parents caught me pleasuring myself, and smashed my laptop with a hammer, all while calling me "filthy" and "immoral". FML

If thats how you thought they would react, why did you tell on your sister?

15? that's a bit young. hell at 15 she can't even drive a car yet but she somehow knows enough about sex to make a mature decision? *rolls eyes*

Get an inflatable partner and "accidentally" leave it on your bed. If they say something, then respond: Hey -- you're right! Sex IS a beautiful thing! Thanks, Mom and Dad for your encouragement!

Wow, the fact that people here use the terms, "snitch" and "tattle tale" just go to show the age of your average FML user.

You're one of those motherfuckers who calls that “How’s My driving?” number, participates in “neighborhood watch” and sends anonymous tips to the police, aren't you? There's something called INTEGRITY that snitches need to learn the meaning of. And meanwhile, STFU!

I would think the sister needs to learn a thing or two about integrity. She's 15, and not necessarily is she just now sexing, mind you. She could have started long before that. Those examples you gave are totally irrelevant, and actually harm your point, because you SHOULD call and say "this guy's driving like a maniac!" and you SHOULD call the police if your neighbour's house is being broken into. And to those saying "birth control doesn't mean sex!" you all fail at comprehension. Consider the parents' response, and also consider that they didn't know she had them, obviously. They would have known she had them if it was for reasons other than sex, and they wouldn't have said "sex is a beautiful thing" if it was for reasons other than sex. And Why is masturbation worse than underage sex? Why is it worse than sex in general? Why are the parents' reactions to their children justified because it was masturbation vs sex? Also he wasn't necessarily snitching. He could be genuinely worried about the consequences his little sister could experience. He took the case to his parents because they're THE PARENTS and are the ones who usually administer the advice and "the talk" and all that. Maybe he wasn't expecting them to punish her but to just talk to her?

On the upside , you now know who the favorite child is .

YDI for ratting out your sister. Geez, how old are you? :S
