Today, I was in my hotel room. I picked up an expensive wine from the mini fridge, just to see what it is. I heard a mechanical "bling". I was charged for it. Then, I tried to put it back, only to hear another "bling". I was charged twice for expensive wine that I won't even drink. FML

Today, I arrived at a cheap but nice hotel. I normally couldn't pay for it, but it was only slightly more expensive than camping, so I decided to treat myself. Ten minutes after arriving, I felt dizzy while standing in the bathroom, sat down on the toilet, and broke the lid almost in half. It'll cost me 50 euros extra. FML

Today, a self check-in hotel charged me 50 bucks for an iPad charger I allegedly stole. On the security footage I can be seen removing a charger. It was my own charger that I'd plugged in because the iPad for the check-in didn't work and the charger was missing. I even contacted the helpline about it, which can be seen on the footage. FML

Today, I needed to relax, so I ordered room service at my hotel. When I was finished, I went to put the tray outside, not thinking about needing a key to get back in. I locked myself out of my room, wearing smiley face underwear in a $250 a night hotel. I had to go to the lobby to get a new key. FML

Today, I found out that just because my roommate doesn't buy alcohol, it doesn't mean she isn't stealing mine and slowly replacing it with water. That bottle cost me $150 and was destined to be a present for my best friend, whom I haven't seen in years. FML

The only reason I can see for not calling the front desk is if they don't have a single representative who speaks English, as you clearly do. Assuming you're actually in Turkey, that is. And, if the hotel is expensive enough to have a high tech mini bar (I've stayed in some pretty nice hotels, and never seen one like that!), I can guarantee you that they can find a translator for you.

That's either a really bad design or a really clever design. I'm guessing they aren't very friendly about fixing stuff like that so you feel intimidated to correct the problem and thus they get you to buy stuff from the mini bar.

Rule of life 5089: NEVER PICK UP ANYTHING FROM A HOTEL FRIDGE NOR PUT IT BACK DOWN AGAIN AFTER (Unless you have specifically asked if the things in the fridge are free.) And OP, kindly expalin your situation to them (as you have proof of the mistake since the wine is still goddam there.)
