Today, I was involved in a wreck. How quickly did the police arrive at the scene? Very quickly, considering he was the one who rear-ended me at a red light. FML

hmm...u should probably walk over to him an say "License and registration please"

he can't issue a ticket if he's involved... another cop should come.

Did he have sunglasses on? It seems that in my every encounter with a cop, he has sunglasses on. I think it may be part of the intimidation factor.

If ur broke the state has lots of money to heal u :)

P.s. The camera on the front of the car isn't on 24/7. Unfortunately it's only on when lights or siren are on. Little trick of the trade for ya

Sorry to burst your bubble, but the dash cam can be switched on and off manually.

Hypocrisy makes the world go 'round!

good, now take his ass to the cleaners. new car up in here!

geez poor cop! All that paperwork and having to deal with the superiors. On the bright side the gov has plenty of insurance sooooo hey it couldve been worse/YOU rearing the officer!!!

i actually sometimes hope for this situation [also hoping im totally sober at the time haha] so i can laugh in the cops face..its clearly his fault, get a lawyer and cover your ass because you know theyre taking the cops word over yours.

So, does that mean he has to write himself a ticket? Because that would be hilarious.

omg!the same thing happened to me when i was 17 yrs old (last year). the cop was in a civilian car though. Not only was the light red, but cars were going by. when he got out of his car, he told me that he didnt think i was going to stop. i didnt call the cops cuz he was one so i didnt get an accident report. it was my first wreck and i didnt know what to do and since he was cop i trusted him. he was an honest cop and his insurance paid for everything.
