Today, I was listening to a client's heartbeat with a stethoscope, when I noticed one of my hairs had fallen on her chest. I tried to brush it off, but it didn't move, so I went to pick it up with my fingers. That's when I found it it wasn't my hair, it was hers... and it was still attached. FML

Today, my coworker asked to borrow my nail clippers so he could take care of a hangnail. He went to the bathroom, which I thought was polite, but when he got back to his desk and returned my clippers, there were little curly hairs stuck inside. He's bald. FML

Today, I was eating some popcorn with a guy, and I noticed a piece of hair coming out my mouth. I pulled it... and pulled it... and eventually some popcorn pieces came out attached to the end of the hair. I was so embarrassed, he tried to make me feel better by saying it looked like a magic trick. FML

Today, I was on the phone with a client, when the gum I was casually chewing fell out of my mouth and down my shirt. While I was trying to dig it out, two of our newest customers walked into the lobby to see what looked like me fondling my breasts. FML

@astro actually, you do capitolize the g in God if you are referring to the only god in someone's religion. if you leave it lowercase, then you are referring to a god that isn't the only one in it's religion (like a Greek god).

snicker, I have read two fml comment sections. it seems you do nothing but write negative comments in a poor attempt to sound somewhat all knowing, or as if your advice is something deep and thought provoking; it's unfortunately not. attempt not writing comments, and other readers will immediately stop writing you to quit posting comments.

so she's critical, insensitive, but she's usually right---unfortunately in an annoyingly brash way, which maybe stems from an arrogance of believing she's right, and perhaps she's got some sharp edges she needs to refine, but please, she isn't annoying as everyone else jumping on her because they have some bizarre personal problem with her and her comments. stfu all of you about snickerdoodles immediately. acting as if the rest of you aren't insanely annoying to somebody else.

At some point in every woman's life they are going to have a hair on their chest, unless they have some hair growth disorder. So I wouldn't worry about it unless it looked like there was a gorilla on her chest. That would be a whole different story.

I don't personally capitalize the 'G' in god since I don't believe in one god. But if it were for, say, a formal college paper on religion, of course one should capitalize it. Unimportant.
