Today, I was missing $20 from my wallet, so I decided to ask my sister if she had taken it. Her response? "That reminds me, I need to borrow another 50." She has a job. That was my Christmas money. FML

FYL for taking almost two months to notice you were missing a 20.

FYL life for being an idiot and assuming stuff. So it says the word Christmas and that means everything in the FML happened Christmas day?

Why do you assume everyone spends all their Christmas money the day they get it? Is I not possible the op had the money in their wallet and just recently discovered it was missing?

Ahhhg, I'm missing twenty also, I think she was here too.

um has anyone considered that their sister stole it, and not everyone spends their christmas money the day they get it. plus, you shouldnt have to hide your wallet from your family, so its totally not their fault that their sister steals money from them.

I haven't spent all of my Christmas money. I'm old enough to put most of it in the bank (waiting and hoping the iPhone comes out for Verizon), but I can see someone in their teens not doing that. OP, in this case its not tattling if you tell your parents. They might help her out if its legit and get you your money back.

FYL because you only had $20 for a Christmas gift. Wow!!

Don't forget the wheelbarrow. So much depends upon the wheelbarrow. Until she gets the car, it could be her getaway vehicle.

You're right! She'll take the thimble first, for protection ;)
