Today, I was on hold with a company for so long that I was able to shower, clean my house, and was using the hold music to put my son to sleep. FML

How many times did you hear, "Your call is important to us"

I always wonder if it's really that busy or the employee just take a break and secretly wishes you hang up...

#14, it could've been Verizon or Comcast... Or Charter, lol.

Funny, I called Comcast 3 times already today and got through immediately each time. Come to think of it, anytime I have called them I got right through and the people were actually awesome.

Charter's hold times aren't that bad actually. I have heard some awful stories about Verizon and Comcast, however.

I think that Comcast cancellation conversation that went viral a few months ago really stirred up Comcast a customer recorded a 20 minute conversation where the Comcast representative would not let him cancel

Not a single dime, but it will cost you your sanity

The customer service is misusing at&t's unlimited talk option.

Why FML? Sounds more productive a day than I've ever had

try emailing them? I'm one of those representatives that has to spend more time apologising for the wait time than it takes to rectify whatever you're calling about... I promise it's not fun on either end

yeah, killing the messenger isnt fair. nor is it fun being the messenger.

I should try that...I usually just hang up and call back later

Not smart cuz then you end up at the bottom of the queue again

Not only is it unrelevant, but it's pretty irrelevant too.

Good job getting stuff done while you waited. One time I was on hold for 4 hours (the machine lady said it was 30 minutes), so in the review I put that they need to stop playing that same song over and over.

I worked for an insurance provider for 6 months, and now the Health Insurance Marketplace on-hold music will haunt me forever.

at least you used your time efficiently.

Either you REALLY needed to speak with them, or you must have an insane amount of patience. Or both.

She managed to put a baby to sleep while on hold. A baby usually won't sleep if you are in the least bit agitated. So I'd say OP has the patience of a saint.

He's almost 2 xD Lol it was a helluva time
