40 - Yes there are many parents who are obsessed with what their kids do, but a lot of them just get on for their own friends. OP's mum seems like she does it for her friends, seeing as how she put a picture of her son/daughter doing that. An over protective parent would. Besides if OP would have done that to his/her mum he/she would be laughing, thinking it was hilarious, not posting an FML.
