Because she doesn't know all the guys at her school by name? Give her a break, OP may never even have spoken to her before. It kinda sucks for OP but it doesn't mean she's a bitch or anything. Maybe she just minds her own business and hangs out with her select friend group and it's a really big school. OPs probably changed a lot since kindergarten too.

I feel like your generalizing WAY too much. The friend zone, in a way, can happen. The creepy zone is a whole other thing. If someone tells you their feelings or whatever, I don't think it's fair to just jump on the bandwagon of "Wat, u just wanna *** me lolz creep" It's kind of mean, to be honest. However, if someone starts using the friendzone to put the blame on you for not feeling the same way they do or manipulate you or use it to cover up their sole intentions of just ******* you or all of the above, then yeah, that's a creep right there.

89, that example isn't the same thing as "the friend zone". It's fine if people feel sad or disappointed about their feelings for someone else not being returned. It's not fine for them to consider themselves victimized by it as if the other person shouldn't have been allowed to reject them.

Everyone already blaming the girl. OP said same school, not same class. Certain schools are quite large and impossible to know every single person in your grade. Some schools I know have ~1,000 people in just one grade alone. I certainly wouldn't remember everyone. And OP has not approached her before (from the sound of the FML). Also... What if OP had an appearance change recently? Hair, braces, acne, etc. Might look like a different person if you don't know them well enough. Just trying to see the other side of this. If I'm wrong, well... At least she knows you now ? :|
