Mood-rings respond to changes in skin-temperature. So you pet your cat, and your hands end up warmer than they where. Big FRICKING deal ! You deserve worse, for wearing one of those rings anyway, especially for ascribing ANY meaning to it's color.
This totally doesn't deserve to be an FML. You're just ******* stupid for thinking the mood ring color has any significance. If it says that, you just laugh. Not post it to FML.
This is only an FML if the ring was right.
#5, That's not how convection works. If anything, it would be the heat transferred from the cat's warm body. Petting your cat doesn't create enough friction elevate the temperature by very much. And, even if it did, that isn't a constant heat source, so it would only elevate it for a very short time.
...stupidest ******* thing ive ever heard....
mood rings work via heat, so your cat's warmth (They have higher body temperatures than humans) is probably what caused the reaction.
YDI for thinking mood rings actually work.
not really an FML

I'm hot for a nice pussy
Mood rings work by body temperature all that means the friction from rubbing your cat made the ring hotter.....tard.
