Today, I was putting red nail polish on my nails and put a newspaper on the table to make sure that it didn't spill. I later discovered the nail polish made the newspaper stick to the table. I scrubbed nail polish remover on it, thinking it would help but instead bleached the table. FML

You're an idiot. 1. Newspaper will not prevent a spill. 2. Discovering the stuck newspaper later means you spilled it and left it. 3. Of course nail polish remover will remove the finish on furniture (it doesn't bleach it). I don't understand how people can be so stupid.

I guess I just don't understand how you could be THAT messy while painting your nails. I'm terrible at it, but at most I get only a few tiny speckles on the surface I use.

I have to say ydi, because how freaking sloppy are you that you got enough polish on the paper to make it stick to the table? You clearly should not be around nail polish or sharp things.

did you ever notice that acetone is a strong chemical that eats through the stuff you paint on your nails? ... oh, but I'm shocked it would also eat through the finish/ paint on your table, that doesn't make sense!

what kind of moron can't paint their nails without spilling??? And yeah, nail polish remover + varnish = no more varnish.
